Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs, VISN 11 Medical Centers is soliciting offers from a contractor who can perform Home Oxygen Services to eligible veterans within various counties of Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, and Illinois. Offerors are encouraged to submit offers for any or all medical centers in VISN 11 as stated in the solicitation. The contract period(s) is/are anticipated to be from date of award until September 30, 2001, with 4 pre-priced option periods. Solicitations/(RFP)s will be available on or about 10/10/00. Solicitations must be requesting in writing (can be faxed) and addressed to either of the contact points listed in item 11. Offers/proposals are due no later than 11/10/00, at 4:00 pm local time at the above address. This solicitation is issued for full and open competition and subject to a subcontracting plan if anticipated award to a large business exceeds $500K. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered. This contract is subject to the Service Contract Act and some places of performance are unknown depending on the offeror's/contractor's place of business. Wage determinations have been requested for the counties covered in the solicitation. The contracting officer will request wage determinations for additional localities if asked to do so in writing by 10/18/00 @ 3:00 pm local time.
