Description

Single award term contract for the Department of the Interior/U.S. Geological Survey, for the period of Date of Award through October 31, 2001. Quality Level III required. These specifications cover the production of books and pamphlets with self- or separate-covers, and flat sheets requiring such operations as electronic pre-press, printing (including 4-color process), binding, packing, and distribution. Production must be achieved through the printing process. 25 orders during the term of the contract. 25 to 5,000 copies per order; with separate covers and page count ranging from approximately 16 to 700 copies. Saddle stitched products average 800 copies, 52 pages. Perfect bound products average 400 copies, 252 pages. Loose-leaf sets average 50 copies, 110 pages. Flat sheet products average 3,000 copies. Trim size: Books & pamphlets/loose-leaf sets -- 8-1/2 x 11". Flat sheets -- 8-1/2 x 11", 11 x 17" and 11 x 25-1/2". Print face only or face and back in single or multiple ink colors (including four-color process). complete production and distribution within 12 to 30 workdays.
