Description

ELECTRONIC RFP ANNOUNCEMENT-POTENTIAL OFFERORS WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR DOWNLOADING THEIR OWN COPY OF THE SOLICITATION AND ANY AMENDMENTS. The National Institutes of Health (NIH), National Cancer Institute (NCI) Office of Communications (OC) seeks a Contractor to provide a broad range of public affairs and health communications support services for its programs. The recently formed NCI Office of Communications is the agency's central resource responsible for communicating accurate information about cancer and the NCI's activities to a wide array of audiences including: cancer patients and their families, health care practitioners, health educators, researchers, advocates, Congress, the media, and the general public. The contractor shall provide support for OC's strategic planning, materials development, marketing and promotion of health information, issues management, partnerships and collaborations, consumer research, program evaluation, technology support and new media, and meeting/conference support. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) is 7389. IT IS THE OFFERORS' RESPONSIBILITY TO MONITOR THE ABOVE INTERNET SITE FOR THE RELEASE OF THE SOLICITATION AND ANY AMENDMENTS. The solicitation is expected to be issued on or about October 15, 2000.
