Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs, Bronx VA Medical Center is looking for one or more accredited facilities, (JCAHO if it's a hospital) with an ACR (American College of Radiology), which must be in compliance with the most current edition of Federal & Local requirements. Approved mammography program in our catchment area (within reasonable commuting area; upper Manhattan, lower Westchester and the Bronx where our Hospital is located (130 W. Kingsbridge Road, Bronx, N.Y.)). So that we can refer our patients to the facility for mammograms (both mammograms, routine screening and done after detection of a nodule or other abnormality). The site would need to perform the mammogram, interpret the mammogram, and enter or upload the report into our Decentralized Hospital Computer Program (DHCP and Vista) and then electronically verify it, all in a timely manner (in accordance with national standards).
