Description

The Defense Threat Reduction Agency is contemplating award on a sole source basis to Science Applications International Corporation, Mclean, VA location for an increase in the level of effort for systems engineering and integration support for the Counterproliferation Support and Operations Directorate. The award will be made on a sole-source basis to SAIC because they possess the knowledge and expertise and have demonstrated performance required to support activities ranging from weapons of mass destruction targeting and counterforce operations to battlefield early warning to restoration operations after a WMD attack. The proposed effort will encompass, but not be limited to the following tasks: 1) Analysis of mission requirements resulting in the identification of specific system technical performance parameters; 2) verification of system performance and interface compatibility; and 3) provide support to operational commands in development of plans for system demonstration and analysis of data collection.
