Description

The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division intends to purchase on a sole source basis 800 each of Cypress PN CY7C271A-30WC Semiconductor; 800 each of Maxim PN REF02EZ, Precision Voltage Reference; and 800 each of Maxim PN MAX197ACNI, Analog to Digital Converter. These items will be purchased on a Limited Source Basis from the manufacturers Cypress Semiconductor and Maxim Integrated Products or their authorized resellers. Cypress and Maxim are the only known manufacturers of these items. These items are the same components used when developing the prototype battery boxes for the Ship ACADA portable chemical agent detector. Changing the brand of components would adversely impact the design and performance of the battery box.
