Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for a commercial item prepared in accordance with FAR 13 with the format in Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the ONLY solicitation A SEPARATE WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. Solicitation number N00181-01-Q-0003 applies and quotations are being requested. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-19 and the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations Supplement current through DCN 20000831. The Standard Industrial Code is 3494 with a small business size of 500 employees. THIS REQUIREMENT IS 100% SET-ASIDE FOR SMALL BUSINESS CONCERNS. Norfolk Naval Shipyard intends to make a firm fixed-price award for 64 each Reducer, tube, concentric, 14 inch x 10 inch IPS Buttweld, class 200, 70/30 CU-NI, similar to BUSHIPS dwg 810-1385880, Rev D with "L" dimension approx. equal to 13 inches. Delivery shall be FOB destination, NNSY,Receiving Officer, B276, Ports, VA 3709.Inspection/acceptance at destination. DFARS 252.204-7004 REQUIRED CENTRAL REGISTRATION" applies. Lack of registration in the CCR database will make an offeror/quoter INELIGIBLE FOR AWARD. Info can be obtained through Internet @ http://ccr/edi.disa.mil. FAR 52.212-1, 52-212-3, 52.212-4, 52.212-5 (52.222-21, 52.222-26, 52.222-35, 52.222-36, 52.222-37 invoked), ADDENDA: DFAR 252.212-7001 W/252.225-7001 applies. A COMPLETED CERTIFICATION AS REQUIRED BY FAR 52.212-3 SHALL ACCOMPANY ALL RESPONSES TO THIS SOLICITATION. Offers shall be evaluated for fair and reasonable prices, technical acceptability, adherence to applicable clauses, provisions, required delivery and satisfactory past performance record. The Navy's RYG quality evauation program applies to this acquisition.
