Description

This corrects the previous solicitation posted on September 30,2000: The U.S Customs Service intends to negotiate on a sole-source basis with Rockwell Collins General Aviation Division, Cedar Rapids, Iowa to procure general commercial avionics equipment for the P-3 AEW aircraft upgrade program. This equipment will be supplied by Customs as Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) to the prime contractor and integrated with the flight management and display system, GPS, automatic flight control system and dual inertial navigation systems to achieve a common avionics configuration baseline as previously established by the most recent USCS configuration (P-3 AEW #7 and #8). This contract will require the contractor to provide technical data, manuals and additional system spares. This contract action is subject to the availability of funds. See Note 22.
