- Description
- The project consists of two Electronic Scoring Sites with identical, approximately 780 Square Meter, Pre-Engineered Metal Buildings with dock space for large trailers, vestibules for the trailers, administrative areas, electronics maintenance areas, break rooms, latrines, and mechanical/electrical spaces. Primary construction materials include: concrete column pads, with intermediate grade beams, elevated concrete floor system with mechanical distribution system below, pre-engineered steel frames, pre-finished metal wall panels, interior gypsum board partition walls, suspended acoustical and gypsum board ceilings, and standard finishes such as carpet and paint. A low-slope standing seam metal roof is also required. Each site will also have site lighting, lightning protection system, antenna poles, grounding system, septic system, site grading, electrical and communication lines, and fencing. The project also includes ten Emitter Sites consisting of gravel parking areas and drives, communication and electrical service, lightning protection, grounding, fencing, and site work. All sites are at different locations in West Texas. Bids from large business firms must comply with FAR Clause 52.219-9 regarding the requirement for submission of a Subcontracting plan. Failure to submit a Subcontracting Plan and Pre-Award Information at time of bid opening may result in rejection of bid. The Fort Worth District subcontracting goals are for specified percentages of the contractor's total planned subcontract amount to be placed with the following: Small Business 61.4%; Small Disadvantaged Business 9.1%; Women-Owned Small Business 5%; HUBZONe Small Business 1%; and HBCU/MI 2%. Estimated Cost Range: $5M to $10 M. North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 233320 and the Small Business Size Standard is $27.5M. Solicitation to be issued on or about 30 NOV 2000. Bid Opening on or about 11 JAN 2001. Duration of the project is 330 days. Offerors must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR), in order to receive a government contract award. However, the Government reserves the right to use only the Internet as notification of any changes to this solicitation.
