Description

Single award term contract for the Document Automation and Production Service, Pensacola, FL, for the period of December 1, 2000 through November 30, 2001. Assumed area of production within a 100-mile radius of Pensacola, FL. Quality Level III is required. These specifications cover the production of books and pamphlets with self and separate covers; and single leaf forms; requiring such operations as electronic prepress, film-making, proofs, printing, binding, packing, and distribution. Approximately 20 order per year; 500 to approximately 25,000 copies per order, consisting of 2 to approximately 200 pages per order. Averages for single leaf forms is 2,500 copies per order; majority of other orders average 48 pages with 3,600 copies per order. Format "A" up to and including 5-1/2 x 8-1/2"; Format "B" over 5-1/2 x 8-1/2" up to and including 8-1/2 x 11". Various stocks must be provided. The majority of text pages print in a single ink, others may print in multiple inks. Various binding requirements. Most of the orders will deliver f.o.b. destination to Pensacola, FL; a few will mail f.o.b. contractor's city to one or more addresses. Complete production and delivery within 13 workdays.
