Description

Small Business in the Sunshine -- -On Thursday, 16 Nov 2000, the Eglin AFB Small Business Office will co-sponsor a Small Business Procurement Conference at the Sandestin Beach Hilton, Destin, FL. Over 50 federal, state/local government agencies, and large defense contractors will be represented. Small Businesses will have an opportunity to discuss their capabilities with these representatives and find out what business opportunities are available. Small Business attendees will not have booths. There will also be seminars on current acquisition topics. The conference begins at 8:00am CT and ends at 4:00pm. The registration fee is $10 per person if paid in advance (must be received by 13 Nov); $20 per person the day of the conference. The registration fee does not include lunch. The agenda and registration form are available on the Eglin Small Business web site at http://www.eglin.af.mil/contracting/small_business/aac_sbo.htm. You can also call 850-882-2843,x5 to request a copy of the registration flyer or e-mail the individual listed below. Room reservations at the Hilton can be made by calling 850-267-9500 or 800-367-1271. The room rate is $68, single or double, plus 9% tax.
