5th Annual 2000 Expeditionary Warfare Conference #170 October 23-26, 2000 Marriott Bay Point Resort & Conference Center, Panama City, FL The theme for this year's conference is "Decisive Power From The Sea: Issues and Challenges for Today and Tomorrow." Industry will have the opportunity to interface directly with the senior leadership of the Naval Services and work together to explore the potential impacts of the concepts and how they will impact our National posture in the world for the next century. Understand the current direction of the Naval Services with respect to the development and fielding of expeditionary warfare forces to support the capabilities required by these concepts. Topical arears of discussion are: Battle Space Dominance; Power Projection; Industry Updates; Sea Basing and Sustainment. Government and Industry attendees have the opportunity to discuss issues related to the deployment and employment of expeditionary forces of the future.
