Description

The Department of State, Office of Aviation, has a requirement for a C-27 Crew Pilot to perform evaluations in Bogota, Colombia and Lima, Peru. This is essential to ensure safe operations of all DOS INL cargo/passenber aircraft operating in Colombia and Peru. The desired dates to accomplish this are from October 22 -- November 1, 2000. Individual will accompany DOS Office of Aviation Fixed Standardization Pilot to Colombia on October 22, 2000. On October 23, 2000 and will remain in Tolemeida, Colombia from October 23-25 to conduct crew evaluations and return to Bogota on Ocotber 25, 2000. Individual will proceed to Lima, Peru on October 27 -- November 1, 2000 to conduct crew evaluations. On November 1, 2000 individual will proceed back to Patrick Air Force Base, Florida to conduct briefing to PAFB staff. Unannounce crew evaluations will determine if crews are operating in accordance with established standards. All observations and comments will be submitted verbally and in print on established DOS Office of Aviation grade folders and documents.The person to conduct evaluations must not be currently employed by DOS or its aviation contract. Individual must be a United States Air Force trained C-27A Instructor-Aircraft Commander. Individual must be familiar with DOS Office of Aviation operations to ensure continuity of operations and information. Individual must possess a FAA Airline Transport Pilot Certificate and currently be employed as an active large transport aircraft pilot in either civil or military aviation.
