Description

The VA San Diego Healthcare System (SDHS) has a requirement for up to 5.0 FTE General Medical Internists for one base period of six (6) months, with the Government having the option to exercise two 6-month options. The intended effective start date of resulting contract(s) is November 30, 2000. Contract physician shall be certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine. Contract physicians will perform duties in the Primary and Urgent Care Modules of the VA SDHS or in VA outpatient internal medicine clinics, seeing an adult population of walk-in VA beneficiaries. The award will be made as a firm, fixed-price contract. Services required under this solicitation are determined to be commercially available. All businesses are encouraged to apply (NAICS 561310). Solicitation will be issued on/about October 6, 2000, with responses due on/about October 31, 2000 at 4:00 pm.
