Description

1) Bechtel Nevada is looking for ideas that will be used in developing a statement of work for the modernization of an existing industrial RTR system (vintage 1991) presently stored at the Nevada Test Site. 2) Modernization efforts and support tasks will: a) Be under the control of an in-house QA program b) Provide all required operations, training and maintenance courses/manuals 3) Modernization of the sytem will address the following components for modification/replacement: a) Philips Model MG 450 Industrial X-Ray System b) Real Time Imaging System c) Container Inspection Manipulator and Controls d) Radiation Protective Enclosure e) Inspection System Control Center f) X-Ray Safety System g) Video Accessories 4) Bechtel Nevada intends to utilize a "best value" concept to ensure that the system will be truly "state-of-the-art" and provide years of reliable service while performing to required operational specifications/standards 5) Responses should be limited to 3 to 5 pages (faxed)
