Description
Note 1 The General Services Administration (GSA), has a requirement for one or more contractors to provide preventive and corrective maintenance services on intrusion detection systems (IDS), closed circuit television systems (CCTV), keycard/access control systems (ACS), hydraulic gate arm and ancillary equipment installed at the Sirena Plaza Building, 108 Herman Cortes Way Agana, Guam 96910, the pneumatic bollards, CCTV, IDS, and ACS at the US Courthouse, Agana Guam, and IDS and CCTV systems at the War in The Pacific Museum, Agana, Guam. The Government anticipates awarding one or more firm-fixed price contracts for Preventive Maintenance services and time-and-material contracts for the Corrective Maintenance services, on a best value basis, to meet this need. This solicitation requires: 1). The contractor needs to provide all management, supervision, labor, materials, repair tools, instruments, and equipment, and will plan, schedule, coordinate and ensure effective and economical completion of all work and services specified in this contract. 2). All Security System equipment in the building will be maintained at an acceptable level, throughout the contract period. An acceptable level of maintenance is defined as the level of maintenance which will preserve the equipment in unimpaired operating condition, i.e., above the point where deterioration will begin, thereby diminishing the normal life expectancy of the equipment. 3). The contractor is responsible for performing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance and repairs, as necessary, on a 24 hour -- 1 day, 7 -- day -- week, 365 -- days per year basis, including emergency call back service. It is anticipated the Request for Proposals (RFP) will be issued on or about November 07, 2000. Term of Contract: Base Year plus options to extend two (2) additional one-year periods.
