Description

The purpose of this contract is to provide MedPAC with a fast, flexible mechanism for undertaking small defined projects on a potentially wide range of topics relating to Medicare. We envision making multiple awards to entities that would undertake the following types of projects: convening panels of experts; conducting structured interviews and site visits; and preparing literature reviews and research papers. These projects would be reimbursed on a cost-plus-fixed-fee basis, to be defined at the initiation of each individual project. The contract period will be for one year with a one-year optional extension period. RFP-02-01-MedPAC will be available on or about October 6, 2000.
