Description
The General Services Administration (GSA) has a requirement for a complete and functional Automatic Vehicle Locator System for use by it's Federal Protective Service Division (FPSD) Northern Field Operations Branch in the Pacific Rim Region. Provide all labor, supervision, expertise, materials, subcontracting and equipment to design and provide a complete and functional Automatic Vehicle Locator System (AVL) for the Northern Field Operations Branch of the Pacific Rim Federal Protective Service. Work includes providing all hardware, software, devices and interfaces required to make the AVL units fully functional through the existing FPS frame relay service (36 vehicles). AVL units shall be capable of providing information on each monitored vehicle's location, speed, and status (via input/output sensors) to a remote monitoring station using the existing CDPD cellular communications system to report Global Positioning and status information. System shall consist of non-developmental, commercial off the shelf items which operate within an NT4.0 environment using the existing Federal Protective Service Division Frame Relay/CDPD Service without requiring modification to the host software or terminal hardware.
