Description

The U.S. Customs Service intends to negotiate on a sole-source basis with BAE Systems of Green Lawn, New York to provide equipment modifications to existing AN/TPX-54 Identification Friend or Foe (IFF) systems to support the P-3 AEW aircraft upgrade program. This equipment will be supplied as Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) to BAE Systems for modification. The modified GFE will then be delivered to the prime contractor for integration with a new mission computer and display system to achieve a common avionics configuration baseline as previously established by the most recent USCS configuration (P-3 AEW #7 and #8). This contract will require the contractor to provide technical support, data and additional system spares. This contract action is subject to the availability of funds. See Note 22.
