Description

Anticipated Issue Date: 10/16/2000.Furnish and deliver U.S.D.A. choice beef to the Defense Commissary Agency Alaska and Hawaii stores in the Western Pacific Region. Requirements are for an annual estimated 1,517,640 pounds for Alaska stores and 3,305,652 pounds for Hawaii stores of fresh beef product. The required delivery schedule is 14 days for both the Alaska and Hawaii stores from order issue date. Award will be for an Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity; fixed price with special factor added to the weekly market price. Performance shall be for a base year and two one-year option periods. Solicitation will be issued as a Request for Proposal on or about October 16, 2000. Performance is estimated to begin on January 1, 2001 for Alaska stores and March 20, 2001 for Hawaii stores. The SIC code for this requirement is 2011 with a size standard of 500 employees. Solicitation is to be issued on an unrestricted basis.
