- Description
- The government intends to procure on a sole source basis for (1) one LASER SYSTEM (A) BEAMLOK 2080-20SA, Specifications for each laser should be as follows: 1. BeamLok 2080?25S/20SA. a. Power and beam quality characteristics to meet all manufacturer's specification sheet for new BeamLok 2080?25S/20SA ( see attached sheet) including: i. Power in spectral bands ii. Beam diameter and beam divergence iii. Polarization iv. Noise v. Power stability vi. Pointing stability vii. MZ<_ 1.1 b. Warranty to guarantee 25 watts of multi?line cw power during first six months of ownership, 20 watts over the subsequent six months. 2. SP3900S a. Power and beam quality characteristics to meet all manufacturer's specification sheet( see attached sheet). b. Output power at peak wavelength(790 nm) to be >_ 4.0 Watts when pumped with BeamLok 2080?25S/20SA operating at 25 Watts. c. Wavelength stability of .Olnm/10 min. drift adhering to the following conditions: i. The ambient temp. does not vary over the 10 min period by more than +/-1C ii. The chiller water temperature does not vary by more than +/-0.5C iii. Drift spec to apply after 1 hour warm?up. d. to include two mirror sets e. to include 3 plate BRF 3. Installation and demonstration of power spec, N/C. 4. Warranty 12 months including all parts, labor, and travel, to begin on day of installation. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation prepared in accordance with the format in the Federal Acquisition Regulation, supplemented with information included in this notice. This solicitation incorporates provisions and clauses that are applicable and in effect through the current Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) and the Defense Acquisition Circular. It is the contractors responsibility to be familiar with all applicable clauses and provisions. No RFQ will be prepared or made available. While price will be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final contract award will be based on technically acceptable low bids. "Note 22 applies, however, all offers received within 15 days (in lieu of 45 days) after date of publication of original synopsis will be considered by the Government."
