Description

Reference is made to the 08 September 2000 CBD announcement, record number SN493482, inviting submission of qualifications and proposal data for the supply of a bridge inspection platform. This is to notify interested U.S. firms that the Invitation for Bids has been suspended. Therefore, firms are requested to cease temporarily their efforts in drafting a bid submission. The existing Technical Specifications for the bridge inspection platform will be reconsidered. When this review period has been completed, an announcement will be released in the CBD, publishing the availability of new Technical Specifications and a new deadline for submission of bids (currently October 27, 2000). Firms that were delivered the original Invitation for Bids package (from USTDA) prior to 29 September 2000, will automatically be sent copies of the new Technical Specifications.
