Description

This is a modification to Solicitation No. 00SQ170768 as issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) on September 22, 2000 for cleaning water tanks at the U S Bureau of Reclamation in Grand Coulee Washington. The purpose of this modification is to change the section that reads "The diving contractor and persons in his employ shall comply with local, state, and federal requirements including the Bureau of Reclamation Safety and Health Standards. In the event of a conflict, Federal Regulation 29 CFR, OSHA Subpart T -- Commercial Diving Regulations shall apply when applied to diving operations." is changed to read: "The diving contractor and persons in his employ shall comply with local, state, and federal requirements including the Bureau of Reclamation Safety and Health Standards. In the event there is a conflict between the requirements contained in Reclamation's Safety & Health Standards, specification paragraphs, Contractor's approved safety program, referenced safety and health codes and standards, or the U.S. Department of Labor Occupational Safety and Health Standards, the more stringent requirement will prevail."
