Description
The EPA is issuing a request for proposal for services to which the Governemnt intends to award a firm fixed price contract using the Simplified Acquisition Procedures of FAR Part 13. The EPA is FACNET certified. Any contractor/vendor able to meet requirements must demonstrate in writing by the closing date. All responsible sources solicited may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered. All proposals received within 15 days of the date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Award will be made only if the offeror, the product/service, or the manufacturer meets qualifications requirement at the time of award in accordance with FAR clause 52.209-1. The solicitation identifies the office where additional information can be obtained. Title: Produce a Radon Exhibit Booth. Vendor must prepare a work plan and an itemized cost proposal. The work plan shall detail the contractor's approach for accomplishing the Statement of Work requirements, including schedule (time line) of deliverables and a cost proposal with reference to other direct costs (ODC's). The vendor shall design, manufacture and produce a professional, portable 8' x 10' Radon Exhibit Booth with hologram and in full color to be used at professional trade shows and conferences. The vendor will itemize the cost differential for an 8' x 10' exhibit with a hologram and an 8' x 10'exhibit without a hologram. Vendor shall have an understanding of indoor radon as a health risk. The vendor shall produce one major 8' x 10' radon exhibit booth with a hologram, six 3' x 6' table-top exhibits, including hardware, without holograms and five complete sets of table top exhibit panels, excluding hardware, without holograms, but compatible with the 3' x 6' table top exhibit frames. All table-top panels shall replicate, in graphics and text, the information depicted on the 8' x 10' radon exhibit with the exception of the hologram. All exhibit panels shall be made with graphics in full color. The vendor shall provide EPA/IED final exhibit graphics in a format such as <jpg> that can be used for web publishing. Using examples illustrating their prior experience, the vendor shall demonstrate their ability to convey EPA/IED's message of indoor air health risk reduction in homes, schools or other buildings through the use of these examples as presented to the Project Officer for review.
