- Description
- AN/TPQ-36 and AN/TPQ-37 FIREFINDER Radars: This is a market survey to locate additional sources to provide Technical, Logistical, Engineering and Repair support services to include software support and materiel required to successfully complete individual tasking for each delivery order on a multi-year Time & Material contract. Each particular customer's unique technical and operational requirements will be specified on a Statement of Work and will be executed on a Delivery Order on the contract. Potential taskings on this contract will include but not limited to the following: 1) Investigation, evaluation and implementation of FMS customer unique hardware and software requirements. 2) Perform/Implement modifications to existing radars resulting from Product Improvement Programs (PIPs) and Engineering Changes. 3) Provide technical/maintenance support and implement system modifications in a foreign country for a specified or undetermined period of time. 4) Generate and/or maintain current US Army and FMS customers technical manuals to reflect hardware and software changes resulting from US Army and/or FMS customers unique requirements, product improvements and engineering changes. 5)Perform Quality Assurance Testing IAW various Technical Documents for the different configurations of the AN/TPQ-36 and AN/TPQ-37 FIREFINDER systems. 6) Investigate and assess hardware/software problems and develop technical/design alternatives and recommend solutions. Perform technical evaluation/assessment and validation of proposed hardware/software design solutions for FMS Radar systems. 7) Development of breadboard models to evaluate potential design solutions. 8) Modify and Test AN/TPQ-36 and AN/TPQ-37 software to support new designs. 9) Participate in technical reviews, program reviews, system design reviews, meeting to address technical issues on FIREFINDER programs, and conferences at contractor's facility, US Government facilities and OCONUS locations. 10) Engineering support for design, testing, production, fielding of the AN/TPQ-36 and AN/TPQ-37 radars. The current source for this T&M contract is Raytheon Systems Company. Complete Technical Data and/or Performance Specification, Test and Repair Documentation are not available from the Army. Any interested sources with the expertise to successfully perform and deliver these services must so indicate, by writing to Commander, USACECOM, ATTN: AMSEL-LC-IEW-C-CF, Building 1201E, Ft. Monmouth, NJ 07703-5000. The response must include technical information to include, but not limited to, detailed product specification, available test data, schedule availability and cost information, copy of purchase order if the supplier was a vendor/subcontractor for these items or a statement from the listed source demonstrating that the supplier can, in fact, successfully satisfy the government's requirement for this T&M service contract.
