This special notice is a reminder that the Office of Naval Research (ONR) Broad Agency Announcement for Rapid, Organic Standoff Technologies for Breaching Surf Zone (SZ) and Beach Zone (BZ) Mines and Obstacles (BAA-00-002) is still active and white papers are still being accepted. The BAA opened in December 1999 and will remain open through 31 December 2001. To date, ONR has received white papers that address the breaching of mines and obstacles in the Beach Zone (BZ) and mines in the Surf Zone (SZ). A number of these papers are currently being pursued. However, ONR is still seeking white papers, particulary those that address methods to clear obstacles in the SZ. Please follow the submission guidance detailed in the full BAA announcement.
