Description

SUBJECT: NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE. THE GOVERNMENT INTENDS TO SOLICIT/NEGOTIATE/AWARD ON A SOLE SOURCE BASIS WITH WATERLOO INDUSTRIES, WATERLOO IOWA UNDER THE AUTHORITY OF FAR 6.302. The requirement is for storage cabinets for the Contact Maintenance Truck Heavy (CMTH). Only one source is qualified and no other supplies will satisfy the agency requirements. Only the source previously approved by the government for this item is being solicited. This notice of intent to purchase is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based on response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a future competitive procurement.
