- Description
- One (1) Field Service Representative (FSR) to provide technical and logistics advice and assistance services on-site in Egypt. The FSR will assist with operation and sustainment of the M88A2 HERCULES Vehicles, including all subsystems. Support will be provided to the Egyptian Land Forces involving troubleshooting, diagnostics, supply and logistics issues such as requisitioning and warehousing of end items, spare parts, repair parts and supplies. All effort will be performed in Egypt. The contractor shall be responsible for determining the requirement for, and obtaining any and all necessary passports, visas, security clearances, passes, identification cards, and any other documents or approvals that may be required to enable the contractor to provide the services and accomplish the tasks required. The contractor shall perform total program and business operations within the laws of the United States, including the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, and the laws of the Government of Egypt. The contractor is responsible for ensuring that all employees are thoroughly instructed on, understand, and abide by all Egyptian laws and customs. The FSR's performance will be for a two-year period beginning on or about 1 January 2001. The Government intends to issue a modification to the existing Manufacturing Technical Assistance Contract with United Defense Limited Partnership (UDLP), York, PA.
