Description

(i) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with FAR subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation: quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii) FA2550-00-Q0473 is the solicitation number, the solicitation is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). (iii) The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-15 and Defense Acquisition Circular 91-13. (iv) This acquisition is set-aside for small business. Standard Industrial Code 3536 Hoists, Cranes, and Monorails, with size standard 500. (v). CLIN 0001___________________ 1 EA 10 Ton Crane (vi) CONTRACTOR SHALL PROVIDE ALL MATERIAL, TOOLS, EQUIPMENT NECESSARY FOR THE REMOVAL OF THE EXISTING CRANE, INSTALLATION OF THE NEW CRANE, STARTUP, TESTING TO INCLUDE CERTIFICATION. CONTRACTOR TO FURNISH (1) ONE 10 TON TOP RUNNING SINGLE GIRDER ELECTRIC OVERHEAD BRIDGE CRANE WITH 10 TON ELECTRIC WIRE ROPE HOIST AND MOTORIZED TROLLEY. CRANE WILL BE CMAA CLASS C. MODERATE SERVICE, INDOOR OPERATION. 460 VAC. BRIDGE, HOIST AND TOLLEY WILL HAVE TWO SPEEDS WITH A LIFT OF 25 FT. Bridge Span of 61_-5_. (vii) Performance period is 90 days after notice to proceed. (viii) The provisions at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors _ Commercial Item, applies (ix) Offerors must include with their offer a completed copy of the provisions at FAR 52.212-3 Offeror Representation and Certifications-Commercial Items, and DFARS 252.212-7000 Offeror Representations and Certifications Commercial Items. (x) The clause at FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions _ Commercial Items, applies. (xi) FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statues or Executive Orders _ Commercial Items and Statutes or Executive Orders Applicable to Defense Acquisition of Commercial Items applies to this solicitation. Offer shall also include the pricing information required in (v) above, as well as the representations and certifications required by (x) above. The offer must describe the details of what it is offering. The offer is strongly encouraged to also submit commercial literature showing work of the type desired by this solicitation which will clearly demonstrate past performance information such as references of customers who have previously the offeror_s services.
