Description
OXYGEN MASK TESTER: This is a contemplated purchase pending availability of funds (1 to 3 each). This acquisition is to be made from a full and open competition. Interested offerors are requested to submit a quotation on this requirement to 314th Contracting Squadron, 642 Thomas Avenue, Little Rock AFB AR 72099-4971 or FAX to (501) 987-8119. Award will be made based on technical evaluation and price, with technical evaluation being significantly more important than price. Contractor must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) (http://ccr2000.com) prior to receiving award. DESCRIPTION OF PRODUCT: TESTER, OXYGEN MASK (Scot, Inc. Part Number 6112300) brand name or equal. (1) Unit must be completely portable with field use case included. (2) Voltage requirements: Unit must run on 115 or 220 current, and operate up to or beyond one hour on internal batteries. Batteries must be locally available (no lithium or hazardous type batteries). Unit must include rechargeable battery power supply. (3) Unit must not use compressed air or oxygen. (4) Unit must have the ability to operate in chemical environments. (5) Ambient air source must be compatible with C2A1 chemical filter canisters. (6) Approximate dimensions of unit: 16 inches length x 13.5 inches depth x 13 inches height, or smaller. (7) Unit must have a digital readout in liters per minute for accuracy, and have the ability to perform communication continuity checks on standard military headsets and helmets. (8) Unit should display a light when leaks above 5.0+-.5, pressure drop mode: available test pressure 150 in oxygen minimum. Standard commercial warranty required.
