Description

(i) The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center (FISC) Norfolk Detachment Washington is issuing a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be isssued. (ii) The solicitation number is N00600-00-Q-6273. This solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). (iii) The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-19 and Defense Acquisition Circular DCN 2000 0731. (iv) The standard classification code is 3629, and the small business sized standard is 500 employees. (v) SCHEDULE. A list of the Contract Line Item Numbers (CLINs) are: CLIN 0001. UPS module DC Capacitors (CAPS), Qty. 20 each, CLIN 0002. UPS12-475 UPS Battery Plant, Qty. 1 Lot, (vi) SPECIFICATIONS. clin 0001. UPS DC Capacitors (CAPS), 450VDC, 1800MFD, PRE-FORM DC CAPS per OEM specification, to include removal and disposal of existing CAPS, installation of new APS, all parts, labor, freight, Qty 20 each, CLIN 0002. UPS12-475 UPS Battery Plant, 60 each batteries; 2-strings (30 each), includes installation of 60 each UPS Batteries, Provide proper sized inter cell con connectors and hardware, disposal of batteries per EPA Guidelines, part and labor, QTY 1 Lot. (vii) DELIVERY is to be FOB Destination. To be performed at the Naval Station Anacostia, Bldg 94, Washington, D.C. (viii) INSTRUCTIONS. far 52.212-1 is incorporated by eferrence and applies to this acquisition. (ix) EVALUATION. FAR 52.212-2 is incorporated by reference and applies to this acquisition. The following factors will be used to evaluate offers: price, CCR Registration, and delivery. (x) CERTIFICAITONS. Offerors shall include a completed copy of all the certifications in FAR 52.121-3 and DFARS 252-212-7000 with its quote. (xi) FAR 52.212-4 is incorporated by reference and applies to this solicitation and resulting contract. (xii) FAR 52.212-5 is incorporated by reference and applies to this solicitation and resulting contract. Only FAR 52.212-5 paragraphs (a), (b)(3), (b)(6), (b)(7), (b)(8), (b)(9), and (e) apply. DFARS 252.212-7001 incorporates by reference the following DFARS clause: 252.212-7012. (xiii) Additional Contract Terms and Conditions and Solicitation Provisions: The following clauses or provisions are incorporated by reference; 52.204-6 Data Universal Number System,(DUNS) Number, 252.204-7004, Required Central Contractor Registration, 52.232-33 Mandatory Information for Electronic Funds Transfer Payment. the following clauses are incorporated by full text: STANDARD COMMECIAL WARRANTY. The contractor shall extend to the Government the full coverage of any standard commercial warranty normally offered in a similar commercial sale, provided such warranty is available at no additional cost to the Government. Acceptance of the standard commercial warranty does not waive the Government's rights under the "Inspection" clause nor does it limit the Government's rights with regard to the other terms and conditions of this contract. In the event of a conflict, the terms and conditions of the contract shall take precedence over the standard commercial warranty. The standard commercial warranty period shall begin upon final acceptance of teh applicable material and/or services listed the Schedule. (xiv) DPAS rating is n/a. (xv) Note 1.
