Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for Commercial Supplies and is prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a separate written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number M00681-00-T-7900 applies and is issued as a Request for Quotation. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-19 and DAC 91-13. This is an unrestricted contract action. The Standard Industrial Code is 3564. This requirement is for a single award, firm fixed-price contract to furnish and install a Self-cleaning cartridge style Dust -Hog model FFBW Dust Collection System with heavy-duty containment booth or equivalent. System must be in accordance with the standards set forth in the General Composite repair manual (Navair 01-1A-21). Booth to measure 27' wide by 8' high by 8' deep. Heavy-duty sheet metal booth lined with acoustical fabric to . 5hp or better direct drive motor and blower combo. Motors to be totally enclosed fan cooled. Booth to contain all lighting electrical controls and hookups compressed air hook-ups and installation of dust collection/ containment booth. Cabinet to be constructed of 12 gauge mild steel finished in Grey paint. Dust collector Module must be rated at 4,400 cfm. Modules to utilize high efficiency self cleaning cartridge filters. Filter area per square to be 9 sq ft or better. 250 sq ft of filter area per filter. Filter efficiency rating of 99% down to .5 microns in size. Dust collector Equipment to contain HEPA filters or HEPA back up filters. All equipment and installation must meet or exceed all current O.S.H.A, EPA, and A.P.C.D. requirements. Minimum1year parts and labor warranty. The provision at FAR52.212-1 Instructions to offerors- commercial items(Mar 2000) applies to this acquisition. Offerors are required to complete and include a copy of the following provisions FAR 52.212-3, Offer Representation and Certifications-Commercial Items (Feb2000) with their proposals. The FAR Clause 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions -- Commercial Items (May 1999), applies to this acquisition. FAR 52.222-41 Service contract act of 1965, as amended (41 usc. 351f Et Seq.FAR 52.222-4)STATEMENT OF EQUIVALENT RATES FOR FEDERAL HIRES (MAY 1989) In compliance with the Service Contract Act of 1965, as amended, and the regulations of the Secretary of Labor (29 CFR Part 4), this clause identifies the classes of service employees expected to be employed under the contract and states the wages and fringe benefits payable to each if they were employed by the contracting agency subject to the provisions of 5 U.S.C. 5341 or 5332. The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered.
