Description

Services to the TI3000 Power Supply for the Pioneer Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV). The Pioneer UAV Program currently supports the Navy and Marine Corps by providing logistics support to the fleet users. There is a current requirement for upgrade to the TI3000 power supply, Cell replacement of the TI3000 power supply and Instrumentation hookup boxes for the Pioneer UAV. This acquisition is being pursued on a sole source basis with Tesla Industries, Inc., 109 Centerpoint Blvd, New Castle DE 19720. Tesla Industries, Inc. is the original equipment manufacturer and owns the proprietary data rights to the TI3000 power supplies. The statutory authority permitting other than full and open competition is FAR 6.302-1; only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. All responsible sources may submit a proposal or quotation which shall be considered by the agency. The anticipated award date is 29 September 2000. See Note 26.
