Description: This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; price quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation (F26600-00-Q-Z063) is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-12. The SIC for this solicitation is 3663. This is being solicited as a small business set-aside. The SBA defines a small business in SIC 3663 as one having 750 employees or less. The item description is as follows. Offeror shall quote on the following items: CLIN 0001: Monitor, Panasonic Production. Size: 19_. Quantity: 5 each. Specifications: 750 lines of horizontal resolution, SMPE C phosphors, multi system capability, component and S video inputs, built in speaker, advanced automatic white balance circuitry. Panasonic p/n: BT-M1950Y or equal. CLIN 0002: Monitor, Panasonic Production. Size: 13_. Quantity: 10 each. Specifications: 750 lines of horizontal resolution, SMPE C phosphors, multi system capability, component and S video inputs, built in speaker, advanced automatic white balance circuitry. Panasonic p/n: BT-M1390Y or equal. FOB Destination, Nellis AFB NV 89191. Price quotes shall be submitted by 12:00 p.m. (Pacific), 20 September 2000 to 99th Contracting Squadron, 5865 Swaab Blvd. Nellis AFB, NV 89191, attention Jeff Bishop. Price quotes may be sent by facsimile at (702) 652-5405. Include all specification documentation for items quoted, award will be made based on price and meeting the above specification as requested. The provision at FAR 52.212-1, Instruction of Offerors-Commercial, applies to this solicitation. The clause at FAR 52.212-2, Evaluation of Commercial items, applies to this solicitation. Award will be made to the responsible, responsive offeror whose offer will result in the best value to the Government, price and past performance considered. The clause at FAR 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial items applies to this solicitation. The clause at FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statues or Executive Orders-Commercial items, applies to this solicitation. The following clauses also apply to this solicitation: FAR 52.232-33 Payment by Electronic Funds Transfer. DFAR 252.232-7009 Required Central Contract Registration.
