Description

The Department of Defense Education Activity (DODEA) intends to award a contract on a sole source basis, in accordance with FAR Part 12, Commercial Items, to the University of Northern Iowa, Department of Mathematics, Cedar Falls, IA 50614-0506. This requirement consists of the leadership development project to provide continuous assistance to secondary mathematics teachers to become more effective classroom teachers, more effective in conducting services programs and more effective leaders. This summer workshop will continue the DoDDS/University of Northern Iowa Mathematics Project which provided staff development and follow-up visits from 1994 00 for secondary teachers of algebra and geometry classrooms, technology for teacher and student use, videotapes for staff development, and newsletters for participants. The summer institute will be conducted on the University of Northern Iowa campus during the summer of 2001. This notice is for informational purposes only. NO SEPARATE SOLICITATION WILL BE ISSUED. Responses received within (5) calendar days after publication of this notice will be considered in determining whether or not to place the order with on a sole source basis. Note 22 WILL APPLY TO THIS PROCUREMENT.
