Description
PROJECT NUMBER AND TITLE: UUHZ 010800, 010801, 010802, ARCHITECT AND ENGINEER SERVICES-IDEFINITE QUANTITY CONTRACT. LOCATION: ROBINS AFB, GA. See Note 24 DESCRIPTION OF WORK: Work includes the production of designs, plans, drawings, estimates, and specifications for maintenance, repair, and minor construction projects. The Indefinite Delivery Contract will have a maximum of $750,000 in A-E fees, with a minimum of $5,000 guaranteed, against which individual delivery orders of up to $299,000 may be written. The contract period is for twelve months. The government may at its option renew the contract for an additional four years upon completion of the initial twelve-month period. Typical work includes, but is not limited to, the following: (1) lighting and power distribution systems; (2) heating and air conditioning systems; (3) construction, alteration, or repair of grounds, roads, buildings, and structures; (4) alteration and repair of miscellaneous services and utilities; and (5) removal of asbestos materials. FACTORS ON ELIGBILITY FOR CONSIDERATION:(1) Geographical Area: Southeastern U.S. (2) Firm Size: Firms considered small businesses and large businesses will be eligible for consideration under this announcement. (3) Other: (a) Firms with Microstation CADD capability and those with other CADD systems with inexpensive and accurate translators will receive special consideration. The Government may at its option negotiate with the firm selected at a later date for services to inspect the project and provide as-built drawings. The Government may, at its option, award up to three contracts from this announcement. EVALUATION FACTORS IN APPROXIMATE ORDER OF IMPORTANCE ARE AS FOLLOWS: (1) Specialized Experience, especially experience in sustainable architecture such as LEED scoring (2) Professional Qualifications (3) Professional Capacity (4) Past Performance (5) Location (6) Volume of work for DOD In order to be evaluated, the firms must submit the total dollars awarded to the A-E by the DOD during the past 12 months or past A-E fiscal year. Firms desiring consideration will submit SF 254 & SF 255 and appropriate data as described in Note 24 herein to Jerry Thovson, 78 CEG/CECM, 775 Macon Street, Robins AFB, GA 31098-2207. Special mail delivery such as Fed Ex or UPS should be sent to the project manager at B/183, Robins AFB GA 31098. Responses received by 30 days from the date of this issue will be considered for selection. This is not a request for proposal.
