Description

The United States Department of Justice, Justice Management Division, Procurement Services Staff, is seeking proposals for the moving and installation of existing audiovisual equipment/systems and the purchasing and installation of new audiovisual equipment/systems and infrastructure for a new conference center at the Department of Justice, 950 Pennsylvania Avenue, NW, Washington, DC, 20530. The Government anticipates a contract period of five (5) months for this requirement. The Request for Proposals (RFP) will be available on or about September 28, 2000 with a due date for receipt of proposals approximately thirty (30) days after issuance of the RFP. The RFP will be distributed solely through the General Service Administration's Electronic Posting System (EPS) web site, http://www.eps.gov. Hard copies of the RFP itself will not be available. However, the Government will provide to potential offerors a copy of the specifications and drawings for this project on CD-ROM. Other attachments to this solicitation will be provided to potential offerors in hard copy. Interested parties are encouraged to submit written requests at this time for the CD-ROM and attachments to the attention of the Contracting Officer, R. Steven Frate, via fax at (202) 307-1933 or e-mail at r.frate@usdoj.gov. Interested parties must include their company's name, complete mailing address, phone and fax numbers, and a point-of-contact. A pre-proposal site visit will be held for all interested parties -- a definitive date will be specified in the RFP.
