Description

The Social Security Administration (SSA) intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with L-Soft International, Inc. of Landover, Maryland. SSA is requesting the following software items: 1) Unlimited Listserv-HPO Software -- two quad processor machines 2 ea.; 2) Maintenance on Item 1; 3) Unlimited LSMTP Threads -- two dual processor machines 4 ea.; 4) Maintenance on Item 3. L-Soft International is the only known source that has the proprietary rights to the software described above. If any interested parties are able to provide this software and can prove to SSA that they hold proprietary rights to this software then you must sumit you response in writing by September 18, 2000 at 10:00 a.m. Eastern Daylight Time, to the address provided herein, to the attention of Marcia Friedman Katz. This is a Commercial Item acquisition. The following provisions at FAR Part 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors -- Commercial, applies to this acquisition: (b)1 through (b)9, (b)11, (c), (f) and (g). There are no addenda to these provisions. Offerors are advised to include a copy of the provision at FAR Part 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications -- Commercial Item, with their offer. The provisions at FAR Part 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions -- Commercial Items, apply to this acquisition. There are no addenda to these provisions. The provisions at FAR Part 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders -- Commercial Items (Aug 2000) (tailored), apply to this acquisition: (a)(1), (a)(2), (b)(12) through (b)(15), (b)(24) and (b)(25).
