Description

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) intends to negotiate sole source procurement with Advanced Analytical Technologies, Inc., 2901 S. Loop Dr, Ames, Iowa 50010, for the acquisition of a RBD-200 Rapid Bacteria Detection System, that includes Model 200 Analyzer, Operation and Method Development Manuals, On-site Installation, Warranty and Start Up Kit. EPA believes that the RBD 2000 is a prototype bench top flocytometric instrument under continuous development by Advance Analytical Technologies Inc. and therefore the only vendor capable of satisfying requirements stated above. All interested parties who believe they can provide the required services should fully explain their capabilities in writing within 15 days of the date of this announcement. The intent of this synopsis is to determine if any sources (s) exist and, therefore, no RFP is available. Consequently, any response(s) failing to provide the aforementioned data but instead choosing to merely submit a routine letter requesting a copy of the RFP will be ignored.
