Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The announcement constitutes the only solicitation; bids are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is being issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) 0025715. The Provisions and Clauses incorporated are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular #97-18. This solicitation is under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) and is a Small Business Set-Aside. The Standard Industrial Classification Code is 5049 and the Business Size Standard is 100 employees. This will be a Firm-Fixed price contract. The Government solicits bids for the following 3-D Imaging System: Specifications: Must be 3-D scan technology, range of scanned image must encodable in color, Image reflective intensity information of encoded color, images must be obtainable from scan/point cloud, Scan range of +40=80 degrees total (linear), Scan range +150 degree=300 degrees total (frame), Scan mechanism must rotate, Scan rate of 20 scans per second (linear), Scan rate of 5 degrees per second (frame), Angle stepwidth of 0.24 degrees (linear), Angle readout accuracy of 0.36 degrees (linear), Angle stepwitdth 0.24 degrees (frame), Angle accuracy of 0.018 degrees (frame), Maximum measurement range of 300M, Minimum measurement range of 2M, Measurement resolution 2.5cm, Measurement rate PRR=20, Hz, Laser wavelength of 0.9, Beam divergence of approximate 3 mrad, Angle encoder resolution of 0.018 degrees, Class one laser for eye safety, Can be operated from any standard PC or Notebook computer in either Win95/WinNT, Must have an operating temperature range of -10 degrees C to +50 degree's C, Three-color passive receiver channel for acquisition of RGB color information with data range, Data communication -- parallel interface, ECP standard (enhanced capability port), Evenly spaced internal horizontal and vertical angle incremental measurements, Unit must be ruggized and portable, weighing less than 40 pounds, Must be compatible with existing survey equipment (i.e. tripod mountable, etc.), Power supply -- 11- 18 V DC, max. 3A, Molded carrying case with wheels.
