Description

The 11th Contracting Squadron, Bolling AFB DC intends to award a simplified acquisition, purchase order to Johnson Controls, Incorporation for the purchase of maintenance support services for the existing Computerized Emergency Power Control System (CEPCS) (JC85/40 and Metasys) developed by Johnson Controls in support of the National Military Command Center located in the Pentagon. The software operating system is proprietary in nature. Therefore, since there are no Johnson Controls, Incorporated authorized providers, to accept bids from other sources would void existing warranties. Award will be subject to the availability of funds. Award of this solicitation will be made on or about 30 Sep 2000. See Note 22/Sole Source. SIC Code: 7349. No telephone inquiries will be accepted.
