- Description
- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is NMA100-00-Q-0033 and it is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). Solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-18. This solicitation is not set-aside. The associated standard industrial classification code is 3577 with a small business size standard of 1,000. The National Imagery and Mapping Agency (NIMA) intends to purchase, on a sole source basis, a SOCET SET software license manufactured by BAE Systems. This software is a proprietary offering from the manufacturer and is the only set of software that will perform the required exploitation functionality that PPPS will utilize for Quality Control. This software is classified and the vendor must be able to obtain a SECRET facility security clearance to be awarded this contract. Delivery is expected to be 30 days FOB destination to the following location; NIMA St Louis, St Louis MO. The provisions at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition with no addenda. This acquisition is on a low cost technically acceptable basis. Offerors are advised to include a completed copy of the provisions at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items, with its offer. The clauses at 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items applies to this acquisition with no addenda. The clauses at 52.204-2, Security Requirements; 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes Or Executive Orders-Commercial Items; and 252.204-7000, Disclosure of Information, apply to this acquisition. Under the authority of USC 2304(c) (1) pursuant to FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other items/services will satisfy agency requirements. Interested parties shall submit offers with the following information: Offeror's 9 digit Contractor Establishment Code (CEC); Federal Tax Identification Number (TIN); Remit to address, if different; and business size. Offers are to be delivered to the address listed above, Attn: Linda Bonham, within 10 days after date of CBD announcement.
