- Description
- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with subparts in the Federal Acquisition regulation 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only Request for Proposals and a written RFP will not be issued. This RFP 600-231-00 and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-19. The Network Business Center is advertising their intent to sole source the procurement of the TOPCON Slit Lamp Imagenet System: 1) IMAGE net 2000 Optioma Digital Imaging System, Compaq Celeron 400 MHz Computer System, 17" SVGA Menu Monitor and 4 Mbyte Video Adaptor, SVGA Imaging Board, 6.4 Gbyte hard Disk Drive with 64 Mbyte RAM, 24x Internal CD ROM, IOMEGA Jaz Drive, for archiving Topcon IMAGEnet Software Package, MS Windows NT Software Package, Norton Ant-Virus, Carbon Copy, Epson color printer for results output US Robotics 56 kps modem for system support, TL-51 relay Lens for Topcon SL-82, Sony DXC-107A Video Camera, Sony CMA-D2 Power Supply, Sony Video Cable. 2) Topcon SL-8Z slit lamp (CCO), 12.5 eyepiece, Zoom Magnification Charger, Tilting Mechanism, Fixation Device, Variable Halogen-Illumination Rheostat. 3) 35mm Photographic attachment for SL-8Z (CCO), 35mm camera Body with Auto Winder, Electronic flash, Fiberoptic Background Illumination, Diffusion Lends and Power Supply. Included with the system is installation and set-up of equipment, to include training of Government employees. F.O.B. Destination. The contractor is the only commercial vendor available at this time which can provide equipment that has a compatibility with current equipment which can accurately comply with the Topcon Imagenet 2000 System that is currently in use at the Jerry L. Pettis Memorial VA Medical Center located at 11201 Benton Street, Loma Linda, California 92357.
