Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation Number N00164-00-Q-0337 is hereby issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). Incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-18 and DCN 20000627. The Standard Industrial Classification Code for this procurement is 3827 and the size standard is 500 employees. This requirement is for the following: CLIN 0001 -- 10 each Image Intensifier Tubes 18MM Gen IV Gated, Unfilmed. This is a Brand Name or Equal requirement, and we will evaluate "equal" products on the basis of information furnished by the offeror. The Image intensifier tube must meet (Brand Name or Equal) or exceed the requirements of Litton EOS Part number 243260-001. Delivery is required F.o.B. Destination at Crane, IN 47522 with delivery 150 days ARO. Selection for award will be based on price and past performance. Multiple awards may be made to multiple venders with a minimum of 5 and a maximum of 10. The Small business set-aside has been dissolved for this procurement. Quotes that are non-compliant with any material requirement of this solicitation may be rejected without further consideration for award. This will be a firm fixed price contract and will be awarded utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The contractor shall extend to the Government the full coverage of commercial sale warranty provided such warranty is available at no additional cost to the Government. The offeror shall provide its Commercial and Government Entity (CAGE) Code, Contractor Establishment Code and Tax Identification Number. To be eligible for award you must be properly registered in the Government's Central Contractor Registration (CCR).
