Description: The 37th Contracting Squadron (37 CONS) plans to issue a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for a one-year renewal for the subscription to Micromedix TOMES Plus Interactive WWW System. This procurement is being conducted under Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP). 37th CONS intends to purchase the items from Micromedix Inc., 6200 S. Syracuse Way, Suite 300, Englewood, CO 80111-4740. Only one source is available and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The Government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12. Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform the effort in writing to the identified point of contact not later than 4:00 PM local time on 15 Sep 00. Such capabilities/qualifications will be evaluated solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and open basis, based on responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the government. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice. No solicitation or request for quote is available.
