Description

Synopsis No. 00-029: RFP SP4400-00-R-0004, Service contract for all fees, labor, packaging, removal, transportation, and disposal of miscellaneous hazardous items located at Watervliet Arsenal, NY and surrounding locations. SP4400-00-R-0004 will be issued on the world wide web on or about September 19, 2000. The website address is http://www.drms.dla.mil/newproc/indes.html. Approximate closing date is October 19, 2000. All offers submitted on SP4400-00-R-0004 must be in an electronic media only. To view DRMS' Electronic proposal receipt guidance go to: http://www.drms.dla.mil/drmsp/eprg.pdf. This solicitation will be issued as a small business set aside. This solicitation will result in a firm-fixed price requirements contract for a base period of 18 months with two 18 month option periods. Performance will be required by issuance of task orders issued against the basic contract. Special qualifications: prospective contractors or subcontractors must be able to meet all federal, state, and local laws, ordinances and regulations governing handling, transportation, and disposal of hazardous waste materials and environmental protection.
