Description

Wetlant Reserve Program, Bare-Rooted Tree Seedling Planting. Ballard, McCracken, Marshall, Crittenden, Union, Hopkins, Webster, Henderson, and Butler Counties, Kentucky. Bids shall be accepted for each site, combination of sites, or all fifteen sites. Bids may be qualified (i.e. All or none; etc.) however, if no qualification is provided, then bid will be evaluated on a site-by-site basis. Project consist of planting all trees and shrubs of the kinds specified at the locations shown on the drawings and maps provided at the site showings and in the specifications in the solicitation packet. All tree seedlings will be furnished by the USDA-NRCS. Items of work include: Site 1 (1 JOB) Wurth WRP, 3,000 seedlings on approximately 8.5 acres; Site 2 (1 JOB) Boatwright WRP, 20,750 seedlings on approximately 68 acres; Site 3 (1 JOB) Joiner WRP, 23,000 seedlings on approximately 75.6 acres; Site 4 (1 JOB) Anthony #1 WRP, 68,000 seedlings on approximately 225 acres; Site 5 (1 JOB) Anthony #2 WRP, 8,500 seedlings on approximately 28 acres; Site 6 (1 JOB) Ford WRP, 13,500 seedlings on approximately 44 acres; Site 7 (1 JOB) Bruce WRP, 16,250 seedlngs on approximately 53.3 acres; Site 8 (1 JOB) JT May WRP, 16,000 seedlings on approximately 52.4 acres; Site 9 (1 JOB) Henshaw WRP, 8,500 seedlings on approximately 27.2 acres; Site 10 (1 JOB) Mallard Conservation WRP, 36,000 seedlings on approximately 118 acres; Site 11 (1 JOB) Larkin WRP, 6,250 seedlings on approximately 20.4 acres; Site 12 (1 JOB) Benson WRP, 3,250 seedlings on approximately 10.5 acres; Site 13 (1 JOB) Knight WRP, 1,500 seedlings on approximately 4.8 acres; Site 14 (1 JOB) Ray WRP, 13,000 seedlings on approximately 42 acres; Site 15 (1 JOB) Hines WRP, 37,500 seedlings on approximately 123.4 acres.Prospective bidders, suppliers, and subcontractors may assemble for a pre-bid conference and group showing of the sites on Monday, October 16, 2000 at 8:00 A.M. at the USDA-NRCS LaCenter Field Office, 347 Broadway, LaCenter, KY, (Phone 270/665-5944 for directions only)for the following Sites: Wurth, Boatwright, Anthony #1, Joiner, Anthony #2, Ford, and JT May. Tuesday, October 17, 2000 at 8:00 A.M. at the USDA-NRCS Madisonville Field Office, 1105 National Mine Drive, Madisonville KY (Phone 270/821-4464 for directions only) for the following Sites: Henshaw, Bruce, Knight, and Benson. Wednesday, October 18, 2000 at 8:00 A.M. at the USDA-NRCS Madisonville Field Office (same address and phone) for the following Sites: Mallard Construction, Larkin, and Ray. Thursday, October 19, 2000 at 8:00 A.M. at the USDA-NRCS Morgantown Field Office, 216 West Ohio Street, Suite C, Morgantown, KY (Phone 270/526-3784 for directions only) for the Hines Site. Estimated price range is between $45.00 and $85.00 per acre. Bid security will be required if offer is $100,000.00 or greater. If offer is less than $100,000.00 no bid security will required, however alternative payment security must be provided by the successful offeror.
