Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is DACW61-00-R-0028 and is issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP). The Government intends to negotiate solely with Breakwaters International Incorporated, 417 U.S. Highway 202, Flemington, NJ 08822, for a firm fixed-price contract. The solicitation and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-19. The standard industrial classification (SIC) is 8999; the small business size standard is $5 Million. Line Item 0001: Modules (75 EA). Line Item 0002: Mobilization (1 LS). The contractor shall be required to fabricate and deliver a Beachsaver Reef breakwater system at Cape May Point, New Jersey. Delivery shall be made to Cape May Point, New Jersey. Delivery shall be made FOB destination within ninety-five (95) days of contract award. Delivery shall be made to Cape May Point, New Jersey. Award will be made to the lowest offer technically acceptable. Offerors must include a completed copy of the provision at FAR 52.212-3, Offerors Representations and Certifications with all offers. The clause at FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items is applicable. The clause at FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items is applicable. The Defense Priorities and Allocations System (DPAS) does not apply.
