The purpose of this acquisition is to award a competitive contract for the Pacific Alaskan Range Complex (PARC) to provide operation, maintenance and development support of combat training systems, and facilities. This requirement consists of, but is not limited to: program management, range control, target management, environmental management, physical security, logistics, services, transportation, civil engineering and engineering development. A site visit for the PARC will be as follows: 12 Sep 00, 0800-0900 hours Inbriefing at Eielson AFB, Bldg 1151 12 Sep 00, 0900-1100 hours Tour of Equipment and on-base facilities. 12 Sep 00, 1100-1200 hours Lunch 12 Sep 00, 1200-1700 hours Range Tour 13 Sep 00, 0800-1300 hours Range Tour 13 Sep 00, 1500-1600 hours Questions and Answers 14 Sep 00, 0800-1400 hours Elmendorf AFB facilities, Bldg 9549. Visitors will provide their own transportation. Minimum vehicle requirements is a 4WD truck or utility type vehicle. Vehicle recovery in the event of an accident is the responsibility of the visitor. The technical libraries will be available for the same three-day period (0800-1630). Materials from the technical libraries will not leave the assigned room. Any equipment necessary for copying or scanning is the responsibility of the visitor. Visitors will be required to sign a hold-harmless agreement in order to enter range tour.
