This is a combined Synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format included in FAR subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested no written solicitation will be issued. Only electronic submissions are acceptable. The combined Synopsis/Request for Quotation (RFQ) number is DAAE07-00-T-0020. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 90-46, dated 17 Mar 1997. The associated standard industrial classification code is 7699, with a size standard of $5.0mil. The U.S. Army TACOM requirement is to purchase a 1 year Maintenance, Repair and Calibration Agreement for BARCO CRT Graphics Projector Model BF1209 (3 each) and BARCO Migic Interface Model 9828129 (3 each) to include: Product serviced as they were under extended factory warranty, Unlimited telephone support, 2 hour telephoneresponse time, 16 business hours (2 day) or less on-location response time, On-location repair whenever possible, Return to depot when required, Reinstall and align after service, 12 Preventative maintenance visits per year, Reliability Hardware Modification when available, and Maintenance repair and calibration of all units. Services are for the US Army TACOM, AMSTA-TR-VP, Warren, MI 48397-5000 and the period of performance will begin on 01 Oct 00. FOB Destination will apply. The following factors shall be used to evaluate offers; i) technical capability of the service offered to meet the Government requirement and ii) price.
